Classes

Hatha Yoga classes are available in groups or on a one to one basis.   Yoga therapy  is available as one to one classes designed especially for you in the comfort of your own home or in a cosy rented space.  Yoga therapy classes are based on a course of weekly classes and adapted to your level of experience and what you would like to achieve from regular yoga practise.  Teen Yoga classes available for groups or one to one.  

Classes are based in cosy rented space in Leatherhead, Surrey and local surrounding areas in your own home.  We also offer Yoga classes and workshops at certain times of the year in Malaga, Spain (please contact me for more information).

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is an integral style of yoga using breathing exercises (Pranayama), postures (Asanas) & relaxation to help create balance of the body &mind.  A Hatha Yoga class incorporates Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises) and relaxation to achieve a sense of peace & wellbeing on all levels.  Hatha Yoga teaches us to listen to our bodies and to calm our busy minds.  With regular practice we are able to achieve a sense of balance, calm and internal peace along with gaining strength, flexibility and balance.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy allows us to discuss any existing ailments, injuries or conditions that you may have and to study your lifestyle so that we can work together to create and design individual classes around your objective and what you want to achieve from yoga practise.  Whether this may be healing from depression or anxiety, back issues, general relaxation, trying to achieve flexibility, balance, strength or general well being, we can design individual classes around your objectives and we will work together using breathing exercises (Pranayama), postures (Asanas) and relaxation.  There are many tools that yoga can offer us including guided relaxation to help find balance of mind,body spirit and improving our general wellbeing greatly.  

By working on a one to one basis Yoga therapy is perfect for those who would prefer a more personal class enjoying the safety and comfort of their own home around them or one to one classes in a studio before they are ready to join a group class. In Yoga therapy we work with a course of classes to try and achieve our objective. To achieve our aims with Yoga therapy commitment is needed to complete the full course.  Each class is normally between 1 and 1.5 hours. Equipment is provided.

Yoga therapy is a type of therapy that uses yoga postures, breathing exercises,meditation, and guided imagery to help improve mental and physical health. The holistic focus of yoga therapy encourages the integration of mind, body, and spirit. Yoga therapy is becoming recognised as a powerful tool that is used to help treat issues from anxiety to physical health issues but can also be used as a self care strategy for prevention and maintenance.

Workshops & Masterclasses

Occasional workshops & masterclasses available depending on the time of year focusing on different subjects i.e lower back pain relief with Yoga, Yoga Nidra Relaxation, Sound therapy workshops etc (please enquire for more info).

Teen classes

We also offer Yoga classes for teenagers to share with them a wonderful tool that will help support them on many levels through a challenging time in life.  It is being proven that Yoga & Mindfulness in schools is helping greatly with children´s concentration and emotional and physical wellbeing.  These classes may be one to one Yoga classes in your own home, Yoga Therapy classes or group classes  (Please contact me for further info on Teen classes.)
